Security Council (SC)
##Objective
The Security Council is one of the six main organs of the UN. Its primary responsibility is to maintain international peace and security.
- Targets:
- SC.1 Determine the existence of a threat to peace or act of aggression and recommend strategies for its resolution.
- SC.2 Establish peacekeeping operations and international sanctions to restore international peace and security.
- UN.3 Foster global development and cooperation to ensure sustainable living standards for all through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other developmental agendas.
